Commenting Policy

First things first: We love comments and appreciate the time that our readers spend to share ideas and give feedback. Thank you to everyone who comments on our blogs and social media.

However, we also want our comments to be as useful as possible to all of our readers. While we keep 99% of comments, we will remove these:

  • Harassing comments: While conversation and the sharing of different ideas is encouraged, all comments need to be respectful towards our contributors and those leaving comments. No trolling.

  • Foul Language: Nobody likes a potty mouth. Our blog and social media posts are rated G.

  • Anonymous comments: We only accept comments from people who identify themselves. (You must identify yourself by logging into a Google+, Twitter, Facebook, or Squarespace account.)

  • SPAM comments: If a comment is solely promotional in nature, we will remove it from the site and social media.

We reserve the right to remove any comments from the site and social media; please leave comments that are respectful and useful. Otherwise, we shall dust off the mighty ban hammer.

Furthermore, our IT manager is a busy guy so he might miss an offending comment from time to time.  Feel free to report offensive comments by flagging them or emailing him.
